The Library provides a variety of training and development opportunities throughout the year, including:
- Database specific training tailored to your information needs
- Searching for evidence
- Creating topic alerts.

Requesting Training
Librarians can work with CHS and HCSD staff to design and deliver custom training sessions. To arrange a training session, workshop or demonstration of tools and resources for your department, complete the training request form. Sessions may be held in the Library or at your workplace.
For further information about the types of training sessions we can offer, please read our training sessions menu. These sessions can be run for teams and individuals and also be tailored for a bespoke session for your team’s specific needs.

Multimedia Training
Conference Poster Training Sessions
Throughout the year Multimedia Services presents information sessions focusing on preparing content for the most effective poster presentation, whether for print or digital display. Sessions will be advertised on the CHS news hub and listed in the Library’s training calendar. Alternatively, please email Multimedia Services to make an appointment to discuss your upcoming presentation, or stop by the Multimedia service window in the Library.
